Dinner was great in Mt Laguna. We did get a strange look from our waitress when Snake Charmer said she was looking forward to eating a lot of flesh for dinner. I quickly suggested she order a meat dish, and saw a look of relief on surrounding faces. Although we planned a 5 am wake up my watch alarm seems to have a different plan and went
off at 4, so we got an early start on Easter morning. The trail tread and weather were perfect all day. Views were fantastic see pics below.

Randi and I just received our pink “Hike For Heart” wristband today! You have shown extensive interest and spoke about the day you would set out to complete the PCT. We knew you would be venturing out soon, but we didn’t know you were already a week into it! We are ecstatic to have the ability to keep track of your progress with this journal. It’s so neat! September is quite a ways out, but we are sure that time will fly fast with all the experiences and beauty the PCT has in store for you! We wanted to wish you the best of luck on your venture!
